The Program of Teacher Education offers four programs leading to Bachelor of Science degrees in Secondary Education in Biology, General Sciences, Physics, and Liberian Studies. All programs offer candidates the opportunity to experience course work in pedagogy and in the content areas and practicum.

You will acquire practical knowledge on key areas such as curriculum design, implementation, assessment and education policy, while also developing skills in information technology for education and interpersonal communications. Harbel College teacher preparation program combines laboratory-based science work with practical, school-based experiences to prepare you for professional certification to teach science in grades 6-12.
